Hollywood Elites Angry at VP Pence Because He Doesn’t Dine Alone With Women

by on Apr.06, 2017, under Business Practices, News & Events

I found it amazing that the same crowd that is willing to persecute any conservative politician caught in an extramarital affair are at the same time willing to subject VP Pence to contempt and ridicule because he has a personal practice of not dining alone with a woman that is not his wife.

More secrets to get Free Money for shopping

by on Mar.31, 2017, under Free Stuff & Hot Deals!, Make Money

Our staff shopping deals expert provided the following tips:
Ways to earn money back when shopping.

There are apps and online sites that offer rebates on items that you purchase. There are several, but I want to focus on Savingstar.

I love this website because it’s really simple and easy. You sign up on their site and it’s totally free. There will be items offered that you can click on. They offer produce, food, and personal items. You also need to add your store cards to the site. When you add your grocery and drug store cards and actually purchase the item you selected, you will get your rebate. You will have to use your receipt for stores that do not have reward cards like Walmart.  At the top of the page, there is an icon called, “Add Store”. You can add your cards here.

This is what I do. Every week I go on the Savingstar site. I look at the items they offer and check what I am interested in buying. Once I click that product it will read “activated.” You can pick as many as you like. I go to my favorite store (the card is already attached to the site). and buy my items. Within a few days, I will get an e-mail telling me that I earned points. Also on the site where the products are located the activated products will now read, “redeemed.” I have earned $119.00 from using this site. What a great way to get money back for stuff I am already buying! It’s even better when you use coupons with your purchase and get the rebates.

Free Money for shopping!

by on Mar.31, 2017, under Free Stuff & Hot Deals!, Make Money

Our staff shopping deals expert provided the following secret tip:
Ways to earn money back when shopping.

There are apps and online sites that offers rebates on items that you purchase. There are several but I want to focus on Ibotta.

Ibotta
This is an app you can download to your phone. On this app, you can choose several stores that have products with rebates. For instance, one offer may read, buy 3 Trident, get $1.50 back. If you want to do that offer just click and it’s added to your account. Some of the items may have a video or quick poll to take and then you get a confirmation that it is added. You can pick as many products as you want.

Once you purchase the product, you go back to ibotta and follow the easy instructions. If you add your store card, you can show it to the cashier, she scans it and you are done! If not, you will go to ibotta, take a picture of your product and upload it via the app. It’s really easy. I am just starting and so far I have $14 in my account.

This is an example of what I did recently. I purchased 3-Trident gum that was 3 for $3. Rite Aid offered 100 points back on the gum. Then I submitted my receipt. So on the gum alone, I received 100 points plus $1.50 rebate back. The total for the gum was a $3 purchase and after the store deal and the rebate made it only .50 for all 3 packs.

Christmas Lies

by on Dec.18, 2016, under Business Practices

As Christian business people we are called to live according to the highest standard of integrity. During the Christmas season and all year long please take care to always conduct your personal and professional lives in an honest manner. Let honesty be a part of who you are 24/7 not just a marketing slogan for drawing customers into your establishment.

The following link provides food for thought regarding Lying.

Sophie Theallet Refuses to Design for First Lady Melania Trump

by on Nov.22, 2016, under News & Events

One news personality hinted at the difference in standards in how persons of certain persuasions are allowed to refuse service based on their “values” vs. how Christians are punished by the court system for not participating in events that conflict with their Christian values. The following two stories were offered:

Fashion designer Sophie Theallet, who has designed for first lady Michelle Obama for the past eight years, said in an open letter that she will not design for Melania Trump when Mrs. Trump becomes first lady. Theallet indicated that she will not design for Melania Trump because Donald Trump’s values are not consistent with Theallet’s.

When florist Barronelle Stutzman declined to do the floral arrangements for a homosexual wedding, as it violated Stutzman’s deeply held religious beliefs, Stutzman was sued in court and fined. Washington state Attorney General also brought suit against Stutzman. Stutzman now no longer does weddings.

PriceGrabber.com – a price-comparison shopping site

by on Nov.21, 2016, under Tools

I just heard about PriceGrabber.com as a site that can be used to do comparison shopping. I haven’t used it yet, but the site looks like it might save some money for those looking to buy something. The site seems really easy to navigate and there are lots of product categories to choose from. Below is a link to their site:

Chick-Fil-A Founder’s Success Attributed To Christian Values

by on Nov.19, 2016, under Christian Alternatives

S. Truett Cathy founded the Chick-Fil-A restaurant chain.

“Cathy attributed his material success to a mix of customer service, hard work and Christian values – values which drove him to keep all Chick-fil-A restaurants closed on Sunday. It was a company policy that he steadfastly defended and justified.”

Below is a link to the interview NPR had with the late S. Truett Cathy:
